Banks County is located in northeastern Georgia and is home to cities such as Homer, Alto, and parts of Gillsville. The county has approximately 19,789 residents. Voter turnout has remained steady in recent elections, with about 55% participation in 2020 and approximately 54.9% of registered voters casting ballots in the 2024 election.
