The Economic Justice Coalition saw significant momentum this year. We recently received a new Executive Director, Aissatou Sabara, whose guidance has strengthened our vision and increased our presence in the community. One way we have done this is by expressing our goals and visions for the Economic Justice Coalition through a local radio broadcast on WXAG, Athens, GA. This year, we also updated our website to facilitate community members’ access to resources, education about our work, and communication. EJC continued to be involved in the community throughout the year by participating in and visiting a number of town fairs and cultural events, where we made direct connections with locals, partners, and advocates. When taken as a whole, these achievements demonstrate our ongoing dedication to spreading awareness, promoting, and mobilizing for civic involvement and economic justice throughout our community.
